D.Shows is a two-person artistic collective co-founded by Croatian writer–performer Dino Torlakovic and Malta-based German performer, writer, and director Diellza Ilgner. Together, we create micro-performances and short-duration works that centre on urgent social themes, blending contemporary performance, theatrical writing, and audience-engaged art. Our pieces often challenge the boundaries between performer and spectator, inviting viewers into intimate, participatory encounters. Working across galleries, public spaces, and interdisciplinary platforms, we have presented work in both Ireland and Malta, continuously exploring how small-scale performance can spark meaningful dialogue and collective reflection.
